Sorry to hijack but did not want to start new thread. My Son (B+) flew FRA-EWR LH business connecting onto MCO CO BF same day and was told lounge access had to be paid as he was in transit to a US city. On the return leg he would be allowed free lounge access as he would be in transit to a European city.
Just a warning to folk with no status who are looking to CO for BF within the US for onward travel due to the enforcement of F mileage on awards
