Does anyone know if wheelchair assistance will be available during the strike period? Should I be worried about them getting stranded in LHR (i.e, what are the odds of the connecting flight from LHR getting cancelled after they start their journey)?
Just closing the loop on this thread. My folks arrived today....wheel chair assistance was available in LHR.
Even with the strike -- they seem to have had a good experience (I believe the flight from India-LHR had less than 100 passengers).
