Going via metro involves considerable schlepping across GdN to the metro platforms and making a connection (more schlepping) en route to get to the Tuileries station, then walking up the stairs to ground level and walking a couple blocks to the hotel. Much, much easier to just take a taxi, it's not that far and would cost about 10€ or less.
