The trains that I want now show up on the Trenitalia website and it lets me go all the way to purchase including entering Credit Card information etc, however, as a few people have pointed out in this forum, the transaction fails. I tried a Visa Card and a MasterCard with same results. I have an AMEX card but didn't try it because quite a few people on this forum pointed out that AMEX does not get honored even though Trenitalia shows that it accepts AMEX cards amongst many other credit cards. I know somebody mentioned MC SecureCard and Verified by VISA, but unfortunately my cards don't have this. Can't figure out what to do? I didn't see PayPal being accepted.
