I'm not normally a fan of the popular FT refrain "get a lawyer," but in this case, get some legal help. Others are better qualified to tell you whether you should be calling a civil rights lawyer or the DA's office, but that supervisor needs something more than retraining.

Okay, on a personal note: over the years, I've had the experience to meet several FTers, and Deb was one of them (Christmas two(?) years ago at the Orleans). She was a delightful person and, while my personal interaction means nothing from a legal perspective, I have no doubt that the incident passed exactly as she said. FTers for Deb!
