B&Bs?
There is a cottage industry of B&Bs (ha!) in town of Horley near Gatwick. You can get to Gatwick from there in about 10 mins. 50-70 pounds per night. Transport to Gatwick 10 pounds. Is there a town near Heathrow that has a similar set-up?
