NO WAY - we (Star Alliance folks) really DO hope they will join *A one day
An IIRC LH (Lufthansa, not long haul) owns about 10% of jetBlue shares - I don't believe they would let them join OW.
I suspect that is right.....but of course LH cannot have disproportionate influence on such business matters as it would then fall foul of "effective" control restrictions, so potentially there is nothing they could do.
Of course there could be some poison pill penalty which i think would be justifiable influence!
