We are flying BA F back to the states - on points. I tried to book business class but they didn't have three seats so the exec club agent said it's first or nothing. So first it is!

The rub is that it's the 9:55a flight out of LHR so that hardly gives time to enjoy the lounge. But if there is breakfast in the lounge, it probably makes sense to book sofitel, wake up early, wake through the tunnel to T5 and be done with it.

I wasn't counting cost of cab both ways, but we are flying from Munich into LHR so I don't know what terminal that is, so I assume we take a cab from that terminal to hotel.

How early do we have to get to terminal to check in? I really wish we could have gotten better connections but free is free.
