So i tell my mother (who's now taken 4 DJ flights in the last two weeks) to credit her points to VA as she already has some points there. She rings up the call center 4 times and gets told she get them to add her VA number when she checks in as her flight is within 7 days. On every single occasion she checks in she gets told, " I dont know anything able VA" " I can't add it" " I dont know where to put it in" She naturally asks to speak to someone higher up but once again they never know either. One girl even said VA and DJ have nothing to do with each other and there's no way any points can be credited to them. Another agent claimed to have added the number only to find out when she asked at the lounge, the lounge agent told her nothing was added and once again the same spiel that they don't know where to put it.

She was armed by the second time with printed documents from the VA website saying you could credit points from DJ but still no luck. This was in Melbourne and Sydney where i would have thought check in agents would get this request more than say in Perth or somewhere else.

Needless to say she's not very happy about my suggestion to get her points credited to FC and it's very apparent there's a lack of training at the check in counters for DJ. I do however notice when you make a reservation with DJ online you can happily put the FC number in at that point which is what i should have suggested had she had let me make the reservation to begin with.

She's going to send off the boarding passes and other supporting documents but it's a real pain.
