Once I requested a late checkout at 2pm, instead of the posted 12noon. I was denied 2pm, but granted 1245pm

. Was I granted late checkout? Yes. Did it help me? No.

That was staying at a Hyatt as a Diamond.

At many SPG properties, I was simply told "your checkout time is 4pm as a Platinum". ^ SPG beats Hyatt hands down in this aspect.
