Thanks, mia. I signed up for an ANA account and was trying out their search function. Very few options come up with MCI as the departure city, but lots with ORD. I have not tried the segment by segment search yet. I plan to take this trip to China in the fall of 2011, so I'm a little early in my search. But I want to get familiar with the how to's and rules so I,m ready to go when the seats become available. Then I'll transfer the MR points and SPG points.
