My favorite airport wildlife story is at the airport in Mombasa, Kenya.

As it is always extremely warm there the airport has a large passenger waiting area with a high, raised roof and open areas to admit as much breeze as possible.

While there wasn't much breeze that day there sure were a lot of birds coming in to scavenge the passenger leftovers among the seats! I will commend the ground staff for keeping it pretty clean despite the winged rats all about.
