There is no way to upgrade unless you have UA miles or some other UA upgrade instrument unless they offer an upgrade for cash at checkin or at the gate (or you can ask). But it'll be several hundred dollars if they do.

It's definitely a nice upgrade if you can get it in terms of the seat. But the redeye only has a snack meal service so nothing special in that regard.
