So having been EP for several year's now and nearing my 2mm mark, I've grown accustomed to the wonderful luxuries that come with AA loyalty..... reliable and consistent upgrades!!!
And as they started downsizing services, cutting meals, routes and changing the way thing's operated, not too much changed for premium class passenger's, until recently... THEY TOOK MY PILLOW AND DUVET!!!!!
They've crossed the line with this one!!! I cannot tell you how many times in the past few month's that I've flown domestically on the 767-300 and 777 and not received the all important fullsize pillow and duvet to top off the ultimate flight experience!!!
I mean, one cannot snuggle up to a small, snot covered, thin red blanket and the occassional toddler sized pillow....
And mind you this isn't just Domestic.... I do quite the load of South American and Caribbean travel and still, those cuveted duvet's and pillow's are often a question and usually not the answer!!!
Anyone have an idea as to if this is a new thing AA is doing to cut costs or does it mainly just have to do with the luck of the draw in regards to the routing??? Mind you as well, except for LAX and JFK, the 767-300 (international version without wifi) is usually the equipment. Major routes i'm referring to is ORD-LAX, ORD-HNL, ORD-MIA and MIA throughout the Caribbean/S.American-
AND YES, FOR ALL ON FT WITHOUT THE PERVERBIAL SENSE OF HUMOR OF WHICH I SHARE, I'M STILL QUITE THE HAPPY CAMPER AND APPRECIATIVE OF THE UPGRADES, NO SENSE TO REMIND ME THAT I ONLY PAID FOR AN ECONOMY TICKET AND SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH WHAT I GOT!!!! BAHUMBA!!!!
