Seamus... not looking for cheap. Will spend a couple hundred US/night (prefer to spend less) - Best Western up to Hiltonish - proximity is most important. Want to be close to Metro so we can partake in the different touristy things like Eiffel tower, Louvre, Champs D'lyse (sp?)...etc.

We also enjoy fun and different restaurants, bistros, cafes and bars.

Maybe I am overthinking this... all the French names are throwing me off.
