I have about 120,000 points on my Amex that I'm looking to burn - along with about 20-50k miles on several member airlines. I want to get to Southeast Asia this summer and would love to get there in business if possible. It looks like it would work on the awards charts. But when I call the airlines, they are quoting me 300,000+ miles to go business. What am I missing? Can anybody recommend the best way to do this?

I've also thought about buying a ticket on Continental and using points to upgrade? Has anybody upgraded a Continental Ticket with MR points - their chart says it should only be 60,000 miles - though I fear, like all the other airlines, there is a catch that will prevent me from doing it.
