Just for the sake of updating the thread with some recent experiences:

Stay Number 1 earlier this month.
- Upgraded as a Gold to a Family Deluxe Room and given continental breakfast for 2

Stay Number 2 over the past weekend
- Upgraded as a Diamond to a Queen Deluxe Room and given a full breakfast buffet for 2. Parking was also comped for the night which was an unexpected bonus.

It was pretty hot over the weekend so I checked with the hotel to see if they had any rooms with Aircon. They confirmed that they didn't, only 'air coolers' which aren't very effective according to the staff. They offered to get housekeeping to open the windows and close the curtains to keep the sun out so that it wouldn't be too hot when we checked in that evening. Housekeeping did this and the room was a pretty pleasant temperature when we arrived.

Overall, a pretty good airport property with good staff who genuinely do try to look after the guests. The rooms were modern and well furnished, but the beds in both rooms had pretty cheap feeling mattresses with springs pertruding through. If you like a firm bed, this isn't the hotel for you though!
