BTW, over lunch I noticed a C3K ad in the Vancouver Sun, offering YVR to AMS, MAN, MUC for $399, as well as some other destinations at reduced fares. Keeping in mind the aforementioned caveats, that means that AA Gold could be had for about CAD$800, Platinum for CAD$1600, and Executive Platinum for under CAD$4000.
