A little OT I know but on a QF flight once I was booked in (deepest discount) economy and got allocated a J (Skybed) seat (with Y service) – it was a 3 class plane operating a 2 class service.

On boarding the gate agent handed me another boarding pass and I thought I’d been bumped back to a Y seat but instead got a first class seat with J service, not a bad score, discount Y to 3A in a 747!
