wow.... that's pretty impressive! How long did it take to scan each book?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Unfortunately, most of the books
that I read are pop-up books and I have no idea how to scan them.

Also, I was reading a digital magazine on my iPad recently... I nearly
freaked out when I dropped it. It was caught inside my pants and
barely avoided destruction. (I was sitting on the toilet in my hotel room
when this occured)
