Since you're a Diamond member, I'd recommend the HR. The RC Lounge is great and you will have spectacular views of the bay. The lobby is huge and I don't think you'll have any problems with noise. On my stay, there was a high school prom going on and I had no issues. There is even a TV in the bathroom mirror. It was pretty awesome.

The Fishermans Wharf property is nice but there isn't much of a lobby and there's no lounge. You're only a couple of blocks away from the Wharf and Pier 39.

I haven't stayed at the GH though.
