I have been a Platinum on AA since 1991, and Gold for a few years before that. I have never received a bottle of wine/champagne on a flight (I have received a total of 2 minis in my flying with AA). I sit in F or C about 80 percent of the time, too. On UA, it is a totally different story. I have been a 1K since 1997 and before that a Premier Exec for several years (yes, I guess you could say I'm bi ). I have received on numerous occasions bottles of wine/champagne and minis. On one flight alone I got the triple treat - a bottle of red, white and bubbly. I currently count 30 bottle of UA wine in my inventory at home. As for minis, I get them frequently ("This will save you from spending so much on the mini-bar, Mr. iluv2fly.") On one flight I received 24 of them. It's just interesting that my experiences with AA vs. UA have been on both ends of the spectrum as far as the bottles of liquor are concerned.
