I can happily report the boxes are gone, at least on this route. I would imagine STL-PHX would be similarly upgraded.
May of this year FLL-STL-FLL, box meals.
June of this year same route choice of one hot or cold (grilled chicken with rice and vegetables, or cold shrimp salad.)
Return, shoe leather (er...um filet) with potatoes and vegetables, or cold chicken breast with pasta salad.
Much better food (although I kinda missed the "pretty" box) with top notch service from TWA crews.
