At the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau, Bahamas, in Executive Floor rooms, internet is complimentary, while in regular rooms, there was a charge of $12.95 a day for internet access. [I was in a regular room to begin with as the Executive Level was sold out my first 2 nights at the hotel]
For an upcoming stay at a Doubletree in Oklahoma, I was given the option to buy a Nor1 upgrade to an Executive Level room, and one of the "benefits" mentioned of upgrading to an Executive Level room was complimentary in-room internet.
Perhaps Hilton is in the process of slowly rolling out free internet access in perhaps all of its properties in Executive Level rooms, as an incentive to get people to buy Executive Level room?
