We are planning on staying at either the Grand Hyatt or the Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui on my Hyatt points. I am leaning towards the Grand Hyatt, but it is significantly more expensive.
The real question is whether this plan is advisable. I would like to see Macau. I am most interested in the casino glitz and lights, etc. Given my short period of time I was planning on taking a ferry in the afternoon and returning late at night. Is this enough time? Would I miss too much sightseeing time in HK by going to Macau?
Thanks in advance
Depending on your stamina you could possibly do Macau without really cutting into your HK sightseeing time. There is a ferry that leaves from the airport to Macau central ferry terminal. The last ferry leaves at 10pm. You could spend the night in Macau take in the bright lights - have a look at the casinos. Then you could spend the morning looking at the other things Macau has to offer, its portuguese history, the racetrack, etc. Before heading back into HK for another two days.
