Or why not BOS - IAD on UA metal? Even with extra transportation costs, the total costs will still most likely be less since UA is typically cheaper. Then you will get E+, 500 EQM and maybe an occassional UDU.
UA has a very slim schedule IAD-BOS, mainly to fit as feeders for their international flights. (I am talking mainline here.) It may not suit the OP.
