Stayed here over the weekend, and was upgraded to a 1425 sqft Resort Suite complete with an outdoor jacuzzi and lounge chairs. There was a jacuzzi bathtub inside the bathroom along with a standalone shower stall. The resort was much larger than I expected. I didn't find the furniture dated, but I could clearly hear the person in the room above me walking around. It's just an older building.
I had dinner and breakfast at Janos, and found service to be lackluster both times. Aside from one gnocchi dish, the room service menu is no different than any other Westin unfortunately. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and wished I was there longer.
I'm at the Sheraton now, and you can't compare the two hotels. The Westin is a resort, while the Sheraton is pretty much a refurbished fancy Hampton Inn. They're at completely different price points as well. I've found staff to be excellent at both properties.
