To be found inadmissible to Canada under the relevant section of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the offence you were convicted of must be one that, if committed in Canada, would constitute an offence under an Act of Parliament. In this case it appears that you were convicted solely because your BAC was above zero (not because you were actually impaired). Because your BAC was only 0.02%, the offence does not seem to be one that would equate with any Canadian offence. Therefore, I can see no way that you would be found inadmissible.

When travelling to Canada I suggest carrying any legal documents you may have regarding your conviction (e.g., what exactly you were convicted of—the wording of the relevant statute you violated). Be honest if asked about it and be ready to answer questions and present as much relevant documentation as possible. Don't focus on whether it was a misdemeanor or not; that has no bearing.
