Wow! Me and my partner checked into the Hyatt Place Dulles East last night as well. The place was a madhouse! School groups there from STL, Chicago, MSP, and NY. Some of those kids obviously don't get out much and the place was wrecked when we left this morning. It's amazing with a packed house they only have one or two folks at the front desk. I can say, however that Gabriella and the other gentleman there were very courteous and professional. I was able to score a corner room on the top floor away from any of the kids. I was able to apply a Hyatt certificate when my partner checked in under his name this morning as we're not driving all this way to check out. The password information has always been printed on the key card holder at this property.

Are any flyertalkers staying at the Hyatt Crystal City tonight? Hit me up if you are.

After finally getting his attention, I was hoping to apply the Costco Cert and was told he can't do it until checkout. He did it with a big smile which seemed to give him some solace from the night he was having. I get to my room and realize I have to call him to ask for the password for the internet to post this. I'm put on hold, he must still be busy.

I guess you get what you pay for... or maybe it was the T shirt, shorts, and flip flops I had on. At no instance did I bother mentioning I was a diamond nor did he check. I might try suiting up before checking in next time, I miss the PH Vendome. Then I thought it's still worth it
