I was connecting thru STL today on my way home and went to sit up in the Admirals Club to do some plane spotting. The take off and landing paterns were such that planes were taking off to the east. I was up there for about and hour watching everything go by when an MD80 came roaring over the terminal building banking hard to the right. At the same time, 2 planes were taking off from the two parallel runways.

Does STL have a runway that would allow a plane to take off and fly directly over the terminal like this?

It seemed like one of the planes taking off thought they were the one cleared when it was actually the other plane.
