I'm not looking for trouble at all. I am merely determining if it is possible to take a large bottle of a perfectly legitimate and medically necessary substance through the security checkpoint.

My advice to you is that you need to learn to stand up to this security regime if you want your future generations to enjoy even an iota of the freedom you enjoyed during your life. Being told what types of liquids, what size liquids, etc, etc, may not seem like a big deal but acquiescing not only makes the US look like a population of scared little twats, it is also mighty inconvenient for those of us who are not and want to carry liquids with us. So, if people don;t band together and challenge this ridiculous security regime, 30 years from now we will only have ourselves to blame when you will not be allowed to leave your house with a can of hairspray or a bottle of eau de cologne in your backpack.

Meanwhile, I am going to express my disgust by giving these fake LEO's a hard time every opportunity I get, which for the next month is going to average out to four times a week. That's sixteen opportunities to test them and make fools of them.
