I'm really feeling my age with this one.

DL of the 60s and 70s was especially nice. Spiffy FAs, (and pax for that matter). Somebody actually answered the phone when you called and had the authority to correct a problem. Need to change your fllight? No problem, we'll be happy to do that for you. Sigh. Flying was actually fun back then.

Into the 80's and 90's, the city ticket offices were great. They operated like a regular travel agency. I really miss those alot.
