I use a standard auto power adapter, after balking at the inflated cost of the offical airline adapters. It can be bought anywhere from Best Buy to a truck stop, an it costs less than a quarter of the offical airline adapters ($30 vs $120+). Unfortunately, I'm flying the LGA to STL route, so I never get the 'true' AA planes, just the old TWA plnes w/o the in-seat power outlets. I suppose I'll have to buy another if I even encouter the empower outlets, but I'm all AA for the time being.
