Having just done AKL-LAX rtn in Qantas Business class I will be sticking with NZ for that route. Bed was VERY uncomfortable. Neighbour had a bladder problem and was banging and knocking my pod and my legs all "night" and the food was decidedly average. All well and good potentially having a better FFP, but thats no good if the seat and service and crew are inferior to NZ which in my sample of a single qantas (I know rubbish sample size) flight they were.
