Unhappy Paid seating - bumped out of 16C

I thought I'd moan a little, although it is hardly the end of the world

When I checked my WT booking for December (TPA-LGW), I noticed that seat 16C was available for pre-paid seating at the bargain basement price of 25 Euros. So I booked.

Two weeks later, I log in again and "my seat has changed". I have now been put in 16F, and 16C and 16H are blocked.

Did someone realise that these should be treated as exit row seats as they have extra leg room, and should therefore be more expensive? That's a bit cheeky, considering that they technically aren't, and were originally available to be booked.

Also, I'd at least have appreciated a notification for this silent change. I have now requested a refund, as I'm not paying 25 Euros for 16F, but if I hadn't checked, I would never have known.

If I understand it correctly, exit row seats become available for pre-booking at T-10 for 50 GBP, so those seats will likely open up again, but then at more than twice the price?

One of the reasons I like flying with BA is that I *always* manage to get an exit row seat even without paying or status, but I'm seriously considering spending money on it this time because it's a overnighter and makes such a difference...
