You want to talk volume? The safety announcements are no problem for me... in fact often hard to hear on some flights. The Volume issue for me is the ads on the IFE when you start up... sitting there with your earbuds in and ready to watch a film and then POW your eardrums are bleeding... ok ... a slight exaggeration.. but the ads are pretty loud, eh!
