I called the EXP desk on an unrelated issue today and when done asked about my 27 May PEK-ORD flight. I was told that this route now will not start until July. She even "checked." I cannot verify this (I wanted to change my flights just in case and did not want to "call back"), so if it is incorrect, mea culpa. She was "embarrassed" that I had not been contacted.

FWIW, it seems you can still book it and my itinerary on aa.com never changed, so maybe she was just misinformed. (I do, however, have a new routing.)
