Last Sat. I was supposed to depart LFT at 11:00am for IAH. However, COEx cancelled the flight and did not notify me - I only learned of the cancellation by checking the flight status. I then checked my itinerary and discovered they had moved me to a later flight and had protected my upgrade IAH-LAX. So I accepted the change. Oops. They had also changed my date of departure from Sat. to Mon. without notifying me. After three calls to res, I got it sorted out and departed on Sat. I had also previously switched to the earlier flt LFT-IAH in order to hopefully get an upgrade IAH-LAX, which worked thanks to sbm12's travel tool. Of course, I lost the upgrade when the 11:00am LFT-IAH cancelled and wound up taking the same flight I had initially booked IAH-LAX in Y (B fare basis which started as G and then to E) after paying a $150 change fee for the earlier flights. I intend to write a letter to CO requesting they refund the $150 change fee. We'll see.....
