Interesting... I thought all airlines required ID on internal flights now. Aurigny (definitely not LCC!) started insisting on ID about three years ago - though perhaps it's because they go to the Channel Islands rather than for any other reason. I also had to show ID on Air SouthWest a couple of years ago... again, regional carrier rather than LCC.
