I recommend running away as swiftly as possible from anything Barclays (the two hours I spent on the phone and 45 minutes in a local branch dealing with something my "relationship manager" screwed up is a case in point).
I have yet to follow my own advice, however, mostly because due to my work and personal situation we have accounts scattered far and wide throughout Barclays, and without boring you with the details, it's better to just maintain than make a switch. But if choosing, I'd vote: Avoid.
