Comic relief do really good work and offered BA opportunities to be further involved as well as ways for staff other than crew to be involved.
It's not a bad change and a good choice of new partner.
My only concern is that Comic Relief is a UK-based charity (although I'm well aware they do great work all over the world) and it may not appeal as much to passengers from other countries. UNICEF has global awareness and credibility. However, BA may have decided that the potential for Comic Relief publicity and a greater level of contribution from UK-based passengers may offset any potential drop from people outside the UK.
