I was using a Kodak Zi8 handheld. It's pretty convenient and simple. Small, fits in my carryon so easy. Has alot of options I like/wanted: HDMI out, built in USB, can shoot WVGA-720p-720p60fps-1080p you pick the mode, also a still shot mode.
