Hey I was wondering about friends taking luggage. My wife and I live in Japan and are moving back to the US very soon. We have four friends coming to visit in a few weeks and since they are allowed two checked bags I want them to each take an extra bag home with them so I don't have to spend such a fortune shipping all my stuff back to the US. Would this be okay? Will customs ask them too many questions about having two bags when traveling for only a week to japan? Can they just tell them the truth "one bag is my friends personal belongs who is moving back to the US next month I'm just helping him out?" It'll be mostly clothing and books. Thanks ahead time for any and all help.
