I can honestly say I have not had any issues with HSBC since transferring from Barclays and I don't get charged for withdrawals.

However, I can't remember the last time they contacted me despite several relocations. When I turn up at a branch I'm welcomed with open arms but no one has asked if I'm happy unlike the numerous call I received from Barclays over the years. All of which sadly had the same answer - No! and were always greeted with the same call centre response of we fully understand, we appreciate your custom etc etc but can I sell you some insurance and no I won't let you go until you hang up from frustration
