SurveyBuilder.com, a product from San Francisco-based Informative, Inc., is a new tool to help e-merchants find out about their customer's habits and preferences. It is an automated service that enables online vendors to measure a number of elements involved in their customers' transaction habits, and can be customized. It can be deployed by vendors directly from Informative's Web site. Current clients using the product include auction site Onsale, golf-related site chipshot.com, and NextCard, a company that provides instant credit approval for online shoppers.
