+1 to HSBC Premier.

I have an account in three countries which were simple to set up and are easy to manage.

There is the occasional Premier credit card deal (eg, currently you get AA's Five Star service at JFK or LAX for free until the end of May) which stands out but nothing more than Amex offer.

In short, for ease of transfers, a human voice when you need one and a friendly face in several countries around the world, HSBC are the answer.
