Apologies - mods happy for you to move this if there is a more relevant forum but I know that there are plenty of expats in the BA forum and many eminently informed people who may be able to offer me an opinion (who am I kidding - everyone will offer an opinion ).

Can anyone with an account with HSBC Premier or Barclays Premier comment on the accounts? I'm particularly interested in people who are expats, as this is what I'm shortly to become. Basically, do you think it's any good and if so, why? Which benefits do you actually use and which are just window-dressing?

Keeping things vaguely on-topic, Barclays Premier seem to offer a BA credit card (Mastercard) for MENA-based accounts - does anyone have this and how does it compare to the UK-based Amex card?
