The situation is rapidly changing, the protests themselves are now over, not sure if it is a good thing as the protesters who where previously contained in one place are now on the rampage. Central world Plaza and Siam Paragon are on fire, reportedly destroyed and the Siam Theatre opposite Siam Paragon was set alight and that building now collapsed.
Very sad, I decided to skip Bangkok for now but will be back there later this year.
PTS re-issued my ticket (I did not want to leave that to the ICC) and they informed me that the charge would not be processed. ^
