I've never paid too much mind or tried to understand it, but sometimes I'll be staying at a hotel and using the wireless internet in my room. And my primary email account just will not send email. Nothing changed on my computer's end, same settings as always, I log onto the hotel's wireless and my email won't send. Then when I return to home or work everything works fine.
My workaround is just to send email through my work VPN, then it seems to function alright.
Any idea why, or anyone else have this problem?
So yesterday this problem started happening
at home. I'm using Verizon FIOS. Same problem with my laptop and mrs. g;eff's. No settings changed on either of our machines.
And it's exactly like the problem we have at some hotels.
Insight appreciated...
