OP's child will be 12 a month before they fly. The issue isn;t that the child is a little, one yr and one month older than eleven, but that the child will be over 12 on the date of the outbound journey, which determines the fare basis.
To the OP, some child fares are the same as adult fare. if that's the case, all you have to do is, call the airline and change the DOB in the PNR. Otherwise, you need to do what honourable
cordelli suggested.
